And by the way, could you cook a couple for me - my roomie doesn't like BBQ and won't let me have on on our apartment patio. BARBECUED PAWNS 24 raw prawns in shells (about 3/4 pounds) 2 teaspoon five pepper oil 2 tablespoon lime juice 2 tablespoons freshly chopped basil 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger 2 garlic cloves, crushed Peel and devein prawns, leaving last section of tail intact, put in bowl. Whisk together oil and lime juice. Stir in basil, ginger and garlic. Pour over prawns, turning to coat evenly. Let stand 30 minutes, turning occasionally. Preheat barbecue to medium-high. Remove prawns from marinade; reserve marinade. Thread prawns on to skewers. Place on greased barbecue grill and cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until pink, turning once and basting frequently with reserved marinade.
