Drain off most of the bacon fat, and add the garlic to the pan. after one minute, add the tomatoes and the crushed pepper. cook for about 10 minutes. add the heavy cream and the vodka, mix well and simmer for 5 minutes. add the drained pasta to the pan with sauce and heat for 2 or 3 more minutes to let the pasta absorb the flavors. serve in bowls with grated cheese and chopped fresh parsley
