Can't say I've made this one yet - I need a pig to go truffle hunting with. I haven't seen truffles for sale at my local Safeway or even the more fancy shops. If you try this recipe out, let us know what it's like! __________________________________________________________ Pasta: Black Truffle Fettuccine __________________________________________________________ INGREDIENTS: TRUFFLE SAUCE: 2 Tb. pureed black truffles 4 Tb. White Truffle Oil 2 Tb. Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2 Tb. Unsalted Whole Butter Salt Fresh Ground Black Pepper 12 ounces of Fresh Fettuccine DIRECTIONS: In a large mixing bowl add black truffles, White Truffle Oil, Olive Oil, Butter Salt and Fresh Ground Black Pepper to taste Stir all ingredients well. In a pot of salted boiling water, cook Fettuccine until al dente. Drain pasta and toss immediately with the Truffle Sauce. Divide into two servings. Using a pasta fork, Twist each portion into a heated serving bowl.
