From chris1987@aol.com Thu Apr 16 09:31:27 1998 Date: 13 Apr 1998 04:51:44 -0600 From: chris Newsgroups: rec.food.recipes Subject: East Indian Chickpea Dumplings Followup-To: rec.food.cooking East Indian Chickpea Dumplings 1 cup chickpea flour ( ask for besan at an Indian store ) 1 small potato chopped in small pieces 1 small onion chopped 1 cup chopped spinach ( optional ) 1 tsp. whole coriander seeds- slightly crushed 1 bunch chopped cilantro 1 green chilli chopped salt powdered red pepper ( depends on how hot you like it ). Mix everything in a bowl. Take little water at a time and add and mix till you get the batter to have the consistency of sightly thicker than pancake batter. Heat oil in a wok.
