Home style stuffed beancurd 10 pieces firm white beancurd/tofu about 6cm square 400g minced fresh white fish meat 400g minced fresh prawns 3 shallots sliced 3 minced garlic 3 spring onions finely sliced 1 tbsp cornflour 1 tsp white pepper 2 tsp salt Mix fish, prawns, pepper, cornflour & seasonings into a sticky paste. Place a dollop of the fish & prawn mixture in the middle of each square tofu. You may make a small well in each tofu for the fish & prawn paste to sit in if the tofu is firm enough. Next fry the shallots & garlic in oil until fragrant & add in the stuffed tofu with just enough water to cover the top of the tofu. Simmer for 15mins until cooked. Garnish with spring onions. DC.
